That little talked about movie based on that little known comic book by a little known author and a practically unheard of artists draws nearer to cinemas. Matter of days in fact! But for those who’d prefer to step out of it’s hypelight for a few seconds and read something loosely based on it’s original source, which also features a parody of creator owned comics and how American publishing companies handle them, then Watchmensch appears to be for you.
Brought to you by Rich Johnston and Simon Rohrmuller, it’s a parody book that features, of all things, a Jewish version of Rorscach, and towards the end, an essay of Alan Moore’s experiences with DC Comics and other companies. I’m going to tout myself a copy now to get a better opinion, but as said before, if you’re totally sick of everything black and yellow, get one for yourself.
